MOPS/MOMSnext is seeking mature, godly moms of college-aged kids and older to mentor young moms.  A mentor mom is one who walks a few steps ahead and brings perspective on mothering, womanhood and relationships.  Through teaching and one-on-one relationships, she communicates with honesty, and provides a foundation for acceptance and trust.  She supports mothers of young children, not because she has all the answers, but because she knows that Jesus does.

A mentor mom may function in a variety of ways, such as by praying and encouraging, being present, building relationships, meeting needs, through conversation, by getting involved in group discussions, meeting needs, listening, supporting, and celebrating big and small moments.
